Meet me on Monday...v4

Acting Balanced

Welcome to another week of MMoM.  Before we get started, a note: Heather and I decided to try to create a new Saturday Meme called He Said/She Said. We tried a first edition of it this week. Check it out by clicking here. We think it is going to be a lot of fun.

Now - onto my answers...

1. What are your plans for St. Patrick's Day?

I don't drink so I am pretty boring (though I would make an excellent DD).  My plans are the same as any other year.  Stay home, take care of the kids and laugh at my students who come in with self-inflicted pain the next day.  Highly entertaining!

2. What is your favorite room in your house?

I have never thought of this.  As a result of me not want to be thought of as roomist, I choose the entire house because each room has a unique character that contributes greatly to the over fabric of the house environment.

3. What 'gadget' do you have that you can't live without?

I loved Inspector Gadget as a kid.  I used to go to my friends house in elementary school every morning and we would watch Gadget before heading off to be edu - ma - cated.

4. What will your first thought be when you learn that you won a lottery?

I guess I have to thank whoever bought me the ticket followed by let's do the math to figure out the odds of winning - that would make it sweeter.  BTW - the odds of winning the Power Ball are:

175,223,510 to: 1

5. Other than Acting Balanced and your own, what is your favorite blog to read?

Ummmmm, I am married to the author of www.Actbalanced.com but since she stated explicitly that I had to pick a site other than hers, I will go with A Few Clowns Short with honorable mentions to the Unknown Mami and Half Past Kissin' Time.  Sorry ladies, I have to go with one of the other guys out there.

  3. I think the odds would make winning the lottery sweeter and that would be my next point of "wow" after locating and thanking whomever bought me the ticket. I'd take them to lunch...in Rome.

A appreciate your blog-solidarity with the guys! :)

  4. I'd rather laugh at, instead of being laughed at in the case of #1. Frankly, I have NEVER figured out the appeal to getting wasted. How much fun can it be? From everything I've seen it looks like misery. Besides, who wants to be in the state of not being able to control one's actions or having someone else control what they do to you? That's really scary to think to about, isn't it?

Now, isn't this darling - you're Miss Heather's significant other?! Thanks for visiting. It's such a pleasure to meet you!
