My Answers:
1. Are you good about going to the doctor?
Heather says I am terrible but I paid $360 yesterday to get told to sleep it off. Yeah, I love the doctors office.
2. What do you think about the practice of restaurants adding automatic tips for large groups or specific events?
As a hospitality professor, I am a generous tipper in general. I know hard servers work. Saying that, I really dislike auto-tips being added to bills. The funny part - at least with me - I would usually tip more than what the auto-tip requests but never pay more than that. Auto-tips are bad policy and the staff should argue against it vehemently.
3. When was the last time you went out for dinner?
Dinner? I do not go out for dinner very often but I am guessing it would be a McDonald's stop with the kids. Yes, with all of the four and five star restaurants in Charleston, I stop at McD's with the kids. Welcome to parenthood.
4. What is your best budget saving tip for recovering from an unexpected expense or planning for one?
No lunches out for the rest of the month for me to pay for the doctor's telling me to sleep it off.
Heather and Robyn laughed at me because I had never heard of 50 Shades of Gray before. Have you ever had a moment when you realized that you were out of the pop culture loop?
